When embarking on a cycle tour, it's important to be cognizant of the weather and be prepared for all circumstances.  There is nothing worse that being caught in a storm or in conditions that are unexpected and as Sir Rannulph Fiennes said, "There is no such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing".  Wise words.
