We were are able to reassemble our bikes with few problems with both Bob and Colin ready to go within the hour - I still needed to do fine-tuning for awhile. This left a lot of time to see the local sights including a 6th Century mosiac map of the Middle East, swimming in the Dead Sea - where even I can't drown, and viewing The Promised Land from Mount Nebo. Even got some shopping done. Photos below

ReplyDeleteSounds a great adventure, I dare you to go without maps for just one day! Techno loading is an interesting variation on the normal carb loading for an endurance trip but someone has to test these theories. Looking at the floating posture on the dead sea, could you not cycle over it? Gale force winds and driving rain here if that helps. Enjoy every day. Keith
